Entry opening date:

Tuesday 8 April 2025 (Trophy - Provisional opening date due to delays recieving scoresheets - Further information will be communicated if this date changes)

Entry closing date:
Thursday 24 April 2025 at 23:59 – Team Entry Deadline (Teams must be entered by an Institution Administrator by this deadline)

Please note: Individuals who are part of a team do not need to enter on BUCS Play. Teams should follow their rider ranking list as normal)

Entry Costs: 

Team - £427.25 (Team of 4 - As listed on Ranking List for Relevant Team)

ENTRY PROCESS – INDIVIDUAL COMPETITORS (CHAMPIONSHIP ONLY)

To apply for the competition all eligible competitors must follow these steps:

1. Competitor to apply to the event on BUCS Play (Instructions on how to do this can be found here)
2. Institution administrator approves entry (Instructions on how to do this can be found here)

ENTRY PROCESS – TEAM ENTRY (CHAMPIONSHIP & TROPHY) 

1. Entries will need to be submitted via the team entries section of our online entry system, BUCS Play (Instructions on how to do this can be found here)
2. Please speak to your Institution Administrator as they will need to enter the correct number of teams for you.

Please see the dates and venues below for the Championship Regional Qualifiers. Pay particular attention to your venue - Following feedback on neutrality, BUCS have proceeded with a proposal to have regional qualifiers travel to their neighbouring region to compete. Hosting duties remain the same (i.e. You remain the host for your region, but competitors travel from the neighbouring region). Institutions in brackets are the hosts for each qualifier.

Region B: 7th May, Busby Equitation Centre, G76 8JU (Host - Edinburgh)

Region C: 7th May, Somerby Riding Centre, LE14 2PP (Host - Lincoln)

Region D: 30th April, Bold Heath Equestrian, WA8 3XT (Host - Liverpool)

Region E: 30th April, Wellington Riding Centre, RG27 0LJ (Host - Royal Veterinary College)

Region F: 7th May, Oaklands Riding School, The Rosary, Balls Farm Road, Exeter EX2 9JA (Host - Cardiff)

Please note as per the equestrian league regulation EQU 5.3, each team must being at least one person to help with the smooth running of the competition. In some cases, venues/hosts may have enough, so please check with each host to confirm: 

EQU 5.3 All competing teams must bring at least one person to help organise the Regional Round event that they are competing at. Failure to provide a volunteer will result in a fine of £100.
