Event Programme:
The modern pentathlon is a sport that comprises five different events; fencing (one-touch épée), freestyle swimming, obstacle course racing (OCR) and a final combined event of pistol shooting and cross country running. This last event is now referred to as the laser-run, since it alternates five legs of laser pistol shooting followed by an 600 m run.
If the modern pentathlon feels like too much, why not try the triathlon, which combines running, shooting, and swimming! Still too intense? Then the biathlon might be perfect for you, featuring just a run and a swim.
2024-25 Season
This years event will be taking place on Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd of March between the University of Bath Sports Training Village and the Iffley Road Sports Centre.
