Overview

Saddle up and take part in the BUCS Equestrian programme.

Over 160 teams take part in the Equestrian competition and it runs throughout the year in a combination of leagues and events.

About the programme:

Don't have a horse to ride? That's okay. All BUCS riders compete on a borrowed horse.

Riders compete in both dressage and show jumping, where their combined scores make up their final result.

  • The first teams take part in the championship
  • The second, third and fourth teams in the trophy

Pools:

Teams will be placed into regionalised pools by the BUCS Executive, and will compete against 3 other teams from within the pool. Teams will host one match, and travel to compete in two other matches. The top 3 teams from each pool in the Championship will proceed onto the regionals along with the 6 best individual riders, and in the Trophy the top 3 teams from each pool will qualify to the regional round, and the winners of the regional round progress onto the National Finals.
