Paralympic gold medallist from Paris 2024 Rogers, representing the University of Aberdeen, smashed her own world best time to set new European records in both the heats and finals at Ponds Forge.
The 22-year-old’s S10 200m butterfly world record stands at 2:26.39, but she swam 2:25.75 in the morning heats, before blasting her way to 2.23.36 in the opening race of the final session, winning the women's B final in the process
Elsewhere in the pool Olympic 800m champion Daniel Wiffen finished what could be his final BUCS event with a thriling victory in the 400m freestyle, storming back in the last 100m to beat guest and three time Olympic gold medalist James Guy into second place and break his own competition record.
Angharad Evans continued her dominance in the breaststroke, picking up a third individual gold medal of the meeting in the 200m and collecting a BUCS record that had stood since 2018 in the process. She later added a fourth gold, as University of Stirling broke their own BUCS record by becomming the first team to go under 4mins in the women's 4x100 medley.
University of Birmingham's Oliver Morgan, meanwhile, continued his excellent weekend, winning a third gold medal in the 50m backstroke - finishing just 0.05s off the BUCS record.
Across the city at English Institute of Sport Sheffield, there was an early BUCS record for Loughborough’s Georgina Forde-Wells, who took the triple-jump with a leap of 13.46 early in the session.
It was a good day all round for field athletes breaking BUCS records, as Owen Heard of Loughborough went over 5.23m in the men's pole vault final, while Stephen Mackenzie of University of Edinburgh reached 7.85m in the men's long jump.
On the track it was back-to-back gold for Brooke Ironside in the women's 200m for HSU - meaning they claimed their first ever BUCS title.
Loughborough completed a hugely successful weekend at EISS, picking up both men's and women's team titles.
Para-Badminton made a welcome return to the BUCS Nationals programme in 2025, with University of Nottingham picking up the gold medal in the open doubles, ahead of University of Bristol and Loughborough University.
In the individual competitions, there were double celebrations for both Meng Zhou and Alex Green.
Zhou, the second seed, picked up the women's singles title alongside the women's doubles prize - where she played alongside Yiyi Tao, while Green was successful in both the men's and mixed doubles competitions.
The final two fencing gold medals of the weekend were decided at Canon Medical Arena. Imperial's Lachlan Jarvie won the men's foil against Maxwell Jones of London South Bank, while the women's epee was claimed by University of Nottingham's Rachael Lever, who beat Newcastle's Erin Pedler.
The final action of the weekend on the dojo brought the weekend to a close, with University of Nottingham dominating the medal table and taking away all of the team prizes in the process.
