Faye Rogers set a new world best time in the 200m S10 butterfly in the opening heat of the final day of swimming at BUCS Nationals.

The University of Aberdeen student and Paralympic 100m S10 butterfly gold medallist from Paris 2024 beat her own world record of 2.26.39 by swimming 2.25.75 in the morning session at Ponds Forge.

Rogers, 22, has already broken two BUCS records in the process of picking up two golds over the course of the weekend, and her performance in her favourite stroke sets her up to claim another in the evening session.

The world best time will not stand as an official world record, but Rogers seems set to go even faster in upcoming events.

The day three swimming finals start at 3.30pm.

You can watch all the action live from Ponds Forge on the BUCS YouTube channel.
