Key Responsibilities:
- Assist officials and BUCS staff in the running of sports.
- Meet and greet Teams, VIPS’s and Officials throughout the course of the day.
- Ensuring teams know where to go, including the university changing rooms, warm up areas, and the correct playing areas.
- Responsible for the effective communication of scores and results to the presentation team once a fixture involving their team has finished.
- Responsible for ensuring that their teams are taken to the correct presentation areas, and then to the correct changing facilities and refreshments after their fixture.
- To be flexible and adaptable to other roles which may appear throughout the day such as Events Assistants, working with individual sports, and registration.
- To assist with wristbands at ticketing and ensure that spectators have both an enjoyable and safe experience.
- To provide information to spectators, officials, teams or staff about the university facilities and any other information relevant to BUCS Big Wednesday.
- To assist with medal presentations such as setting tables up with medals and finalising arrangements at presentation areas.
- To be flexible and adaptable to other roles which may appear throughout the day such as Events Assistants, working with individual sports, and registration.
