The BUCS Super Rugby Milk Championship Finals are Wales bound

We’re heading across the border for this season’s BUCS Super Rugby Milk Championship Finals to the iconic Rodney Parade.

Last season Loughborough men and Hartpury women landed the ultimate prizes in BUCS rugby union, but who will take the glory on Welsh soil?

Will Roberts, BUCS CEO, commented, “We’re extremely excited to be taking the BUCS Super Rugby Milk Championship Finals to Rodney Parade. Thank you to Dragons RFC, Newport RFC, Newport County and the WRU for the opportunity to host the finals at an incredible stadium.

“And also thank you to AHDB for their ongoing support with the BUCS Super Rugby Milk Championship Finals. Their ongoing support for BUCS sport and BSR has ensured this season is the biggest and best we’ve ever had.

“The finals are always a fantastic occasion, and this year will be no different.”

Rodney Parade is the home of Dragons RFC, Newport RFC and Newport County. It is the second oldest sports venue used in the Football League, after Deepdale.

After two seasons at the StoneX, the home of Saracens, The Welsh ground will now play host to the men’s and women’s finals of the ‘best leagues in the land’.

The finals will be taking place on Wednesday 16 April and tickets information will be released soon.

The Milk Every Moment campaign is a joint partnership between BUCS and the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) which aims to showcase the important role milk can play in supporting young people’s sport and fitness goals.

Milk Every Moment positions milk as a timeless staple in the fridge – not just as a beverage but a nutritional powerhouse naturally rich in high-quality protein, important for the growth and maintenance of muscles.
