The University of Nottingham has invested significantly into its sporting infrastructure, with a £40m Sports Village and substantial investment into its coaching and development support for our 75 sports clubs and 130+ active teams.
The University placed 2nd overall in the BUCS league table in 2021-22 and were awarded The Sunday Times Good University Guide Sports University of the Year 2019 and 2021.
We are currently tendering for an experienced Assistant Coach for the Squash programme for the upcoming 2022/23 season.
The club is currently ranked 1st in the UK for Squash and were voted UoN’s Club of the Year for 2021/22.
The contract period runs from September 2022 – June 2023 and is for a minimum of 460 hours.
The Assistant Coach will hold an England Squash Club Coach Award (Level 2) and will help support the delivery of an innovative and effective Squash programme. The deliverer must also hold appropriate personal liability insurance for the duration of the contract period.
The role includes coaching, competition, administration, club development and working alongside the club committee members and fellow squash coaches.
Whilst this is a short term contract, for the right candidate we will look to extend this into future years.
