Description

The University of Nottingham is investing significantly in its sporting infrastructure, with a £40m Sports Village and substantial investment in its coaching and development support for its 74 sports clubs and 125+ active teams.

The University were also recently awarded The Sunday Times Good University Guide Sports University of the Year 2021.

University of Nottingham Netball Club is a hugely popular student-led club of over 80 active members across all ability levels.

We pride ourselves on delivering the best possible experience to every single athlete, no matter what ability, and helping them be the best they can be.

The 2021/2022 BUCS season saw our first team finish 3rd in Premier North League, our most successful placing.

We are currently seeking a Head Coach for the 2022/23 season. We require an experienced head coach to lead the delivery of the programme in line with the UoN Vision for Sport that ensures sustained performance success and outstanding student experience across the wider club.

The contract period will be September 2022 – June 2023, within this contract period the Head Coach is required to hold a minimum a Level 2 coaching qualification or significant experience at a high level, will deliver an innovative and effective training programme to support the development of athletes.

The deliverer must also hold appropriate insurance.

The minimum hours of the contract is 160 (delivery) /125 (admin) over an approximate 30-week period, which will include coaching delivery, attendance at events, club development, recruitment of future athletes and administration.

The majority of the coaching delivery will take place between September and May.

Presentations are scheduled for W/C 15th August 2022.
