Description

The University of Nottingham has invested significantly into its sporting infrastructure, with a £40m Sports Village and substantial investment into its coaching and development support for our 75 sports clubs and 120+ active teams. The University placed 2nd overall in the BUCS league table in 2021-22 and were awarded The Sunday Times Good University Guide Sports University of the Year 2019 and 2021.

The University of Nottingham Men’s Football Club consists of 7 teams. The 1st team compete in BUCS Premier League (the top level of BUCS Football) and the 2nd team are reigning BUCS Midlands 1A champions.

We are currently seeking a Football Coach for the 2023/24 academic year who will act as Head Coach for our 2nd team. The coach will deliver an innovative and effective Football programme to support the development of elite and competitive Football within the club. The coach will lead the 2nd team programme as well as provide support for our 1st team head coach. The deliverer must also hold appropriate personal liability insurance.

The minimum 200 hours of the contract is over a 40-week period, which will include coaching delivery and attendance at matches. Please note that matches take place on Wednesday afternoons and may involve some travel.
