Description
We are looking for a motivated individual to support the running of our men’s programme with a focus on taking charge of the men's 2nd team on match days.
The role will involve coaching as part of group of staff and student interns working with the first (scholarship players) and second teams coaching anything from small units in technical drills up to the entire group in an 11v11 practice. Working as part of a team is critical for the role, especially given the variety of personnel within the programme and so will need to work well under leadership but must also be able to contribute to the organising and running of the programme from session planning to recruitment.
Coaches must be a minimum of a FA Level 2/UEFA C (UEFA B preferable) and demonstrate a clear in-depth understanding of football as well as a proven coaching history of coaching teams and developing players. The coach must make themselves available for training on Monday evenings & to coach at matches on a Wednesday (kick times can vary but normally a 2pm within the Southeast of England).
