Description
We are looking to recruit a Get ACTIVE Coordinator who will be part of the Get ACTIVE team in the University’s Sport Swansea department.
You will support the development and delivery of the five elements of the Get ACTIVE programme which include a core timetable of sport and activity, delivering tasters and events, creating opportunities in the outdoors, providing ‘learn to’ coaching courses and developing a community hub, with a focus on engaging the least active and those from under-represented groups.
You will also be responsible for co-ordinating a pool of Student Activators and volunteers who help deliver activity sessions.
You will build internal relationships with key services to enhance engagement opportunities with staff and student and be part of collating and using insights to shape a demand led Get ACTIVE programme.
