Description

A dynamic and engaging role within the Sport & Active Health team, supporting less active students and staff to be physically active.

To be successful in this role, you will bring a warm and engaging approach to interacting with people of various backgrounds, demonstrating a blend of confidence and understanding.

You will lead on ensuring our range of physical activity sessions are appropriately planned, set up and delivered, with a focus on engaging those not otherwise participating in the university’s sport or exercise offers.

You will have excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer service and experience, ideally with a background in sport and/or physical activity delivery.

You will have some experience in delivering sport and/or physical activity sessions and you must be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills.

Desirable requirements: A sport coaching or group exercise instructor qualification would also be advantageous.

How will you work? While we are committed to supporting flexible methods of working wherever possible and this role is an on site only role due to the service required.
