Royal Holloway Lacrosse club is a vibrant and established club who are looking for a new coach for the Women's 1 team. This year the Women's 1 team won the South Eastern Tier 2 league, went on to become South Eastern Conference Cup champions and were recognised as Team of the Year 2021-22 at Royal Holloway. The club is a close-knit community, and we are hoping for a coach who can train, enhance and encourage the new team as they take on the league.
Applicants must be able to work with the University schedule and be in attendance at all designated training sessions and matches as agreed.
We are looking for a candidate with an England Lacrosse Coaching Field Lacrosse Level 2 qualification. As well as associated safeguarding, DBS, first-aid qualifications and public liability insurance.
The post holder will be expected to devise and implement a training programme in conjunction with the club committee, working to develop the team’s performance throughout the season.
We need someone who is committed and willing to formulate a good relationship with the team to achieve their best.
Duties:
- To attend 1 evening training sessions (Mondays 20:30-22:00)
- If possible, attend fixtures on a Wednesday (non-essential)
- To provide opportunities for all players within the club to develop
Preference will be given to applicants who can demonstrate:
- Level 2 England Lacrosse Coaching Field Lacrosse
- Previous lacrosse coaching experience
