Description
In this role, you will develop and deliver a diverse range of recreational sports activities, including weekly sessions, social leagues, skills-building workshops, and large-scale events like sports festivals and taster sessions.
You will also oversee community-focused initiatives, such as low-cost children’s sports camps that provide students with valuable coaching experience. Collaboration will be key as you work with student clubs, societies, and external partners to create a welcoming and supportive environment.
You will also manage budgets, ensure safety and compliance, and track programme impact through data and feedback. This is an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact on student well-being, helping them get active, build confidence, and foster a sense of community at QMUL.
The programme includes a weekly timetable of fun, accessible activities, skills-building ‘Learn to’ sessions, alongside social festivals and mass participation events.
Students can also join ‘Give It A Go’ taster sessions with student clubs, take part in friendly campus social leagues, and gain coaching experience through low-cost children’s sports camps, which also strengthen links with the local community.
