This is an exciting opportunity to lead, manage and deliver quality coaching to our BUCS teams to optimise their performance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for organising and delivering coaching sessions on a weekly basis to BUCS teams and where possible, attend all home and away matches. Fixtures are predominantly played on a Wednesday afternoon however, Men’s Futsal and Women’s Water polo compete on the weekend, whilst our swimming team compete in two annual BUCS competitions.
A senior coach will have at least one year of relevant practical experience of working within their field and must have obtained at least a level 2 coaching qualification or equivalent.
The candidate will also maintain transparency of selection processes and pathways between teams and have excellent interpersonal skills to ensure a seamless relationship between club members and the MSF.
As well as this, adaptability and creativity of training sessions are vital due to various ranges of ability within teams. Where applicable the successful candidate will aid with the development of an additional team.
