A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced coach to join Norwich City Football Club in the role of Head Coach, and to work in partnership with the development of this team as well as UEA Women’s Football Club.
The role of the Women’s Team Head Coach is fundamental to the long-term vision of Norwich City Football Club and the strategic growth of the Women’s Team.
The Head Coach will be responsible for developing players technically and tactically, through weekly coaching contact time and developing a squad that is competitive across the women’s football pyramid. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the development and coordination of the University of East Anglia Women’s Football programme, including coaching of the BUCS Team.
Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Leading all training and matchday fixtures for Norwich City women.
- Developing, defining and monitoring the Club’s football philosophy.
- Monitoring the transition of players through player pathway.
- Assisting in the identification and recruitment of players into women’s team with the women’s team general manager.
- Production and recording of formal session plans for every session delivered.
- Match preparation and evaluation to be conducted and recorded for all fixtures.
- Development of the UEA Women’s Football Club, to include management of the BUCS programme.
Qualifications/Experience:
Essential:
UEFA A Licence
UEFA B Licence
FA First Aid in Football
FA Safeguarding Children Certificate
Desirable:
Previous Head Coach experience within the women’s football pyramid
