Description
ROLE PURPOSE
BUCS is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is currently studying at a BUCS Member Institution to act as Student Representative for the Men’s Netball on the Netball Sport Advisory Group (SAG). The Student Representative will present the voice and opinions of student-athletes playing within Men’s Netball in the HE Sector, act as an ambassador for the potential future BUCS Men’s Netball programme and support the SAG in their efforts to add Men’s Netball to the BUCS programme via the Sport Review Process.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Act as an ambassador for BUCS and the Men’s Netball within HE.

Support the SAG with tasks / projects related to the potential implementation of Men’s Netball into the BUCS Programme.

Establish relationships between BUCS and student-athletes within member institutions.

Build and maintain a communication network with other students playing Men’s Netball.

Advise the BUCS Sport Advisory Group (SAG) on all matters relating to the student perspective of BUCS Netball.

Offer insight and feedback on the current BUCS Netball structure and provide member led feedback for the future or BUCS Netball

Help develop a strategic annual delivery plan encompassing student feedback as one element of the plan.

Attend all relevant SAG meetings and provide any updates on actions from previous meetings.

Comply with the BUCS Volunteer Code of Conduct
KEY RELATIONSHIPS
SAG Chair, BUCS National Competitions Manager, Home Nation Governing Bodies, SAG members, BUCS member institutions, other external partners as appropriate.
