Description
Based at our Headingley Campus you will be an integral part of our busy Sports Office Team, coordinating the BUCS activity for our 80+ sports teams, leading on key sports events including Club Officer Training and Sports Awards and supporting the activities of our Athletic Union Executive Committee.
You will have experience of working in a student sport role with an in-depth understanding of BUCS, including the logistics of managing a match day for our sports teams.
You will have strong customer focus with a proven ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
The ability to multi-task and prioritise your own workload is essential.
Excellent communications skills are very important in this role and you must be able to confidently deliver training to and lead on meetings with large cohorts of students.
A good understanding of social media platforms, and confidence using a variety of IT systems, including Microsoft Office, is also desirable.
Above all you will be a confident, self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a friendly team environment, supporting others, and providing suggestions as to how to continuously improve our service.
