Description

King’s College London’s GKTWFC (Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Women’s Football Club) is one the largest women’s university football clubs in the UK with three competitive squads and a fourth recreational team.

This year the 3rd team advanced to new highs finishing 3rd place in BUCS League and reaching the LUSL Quarter Cup finals.

We are looking for a coach to build on their progress and success. The 3s players range from experienced to fresh new talent discovering their skills, and they all share a consistent enthusiasm, determination and drive! The 3s played in the same league as the 2s this year and despite being the GKT 3rd Team, they beat other university 1st and 2nd teams, such as Imperial Medics 1s and South Bank 1s.

Training is on Monday evenings at Honor Oak Park (SE23 1NW). Matches are on Wednesdays and Sundays, from September to March, kickoff times vary (usually 2pm or 4pm). Home pitches are Honor Oak Park or The Griffin (SE21 7BU) and Bacon College (SE16 6AT).

What we are looking for:

Commitment and dedication to the team Understanding of players' university priorities

Passion and enthusiasm for women's football

Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills

Requirements:

FA level 1 Coaching badge

Planning and delivering Monday evening training sessions weekly.

Preparing and attending weekly matches, including away games.

Communicating and working with the team captain and vice-captain
