Plan and lead training sessions to a group of mixed ability members with diverse backgrounds and experience of the sport · Build confidence of returning members and keep retention rates up

· Provide coaching expertise to improve the quality and standard of training

· Be a consistently encouraging and motivating presence within the club

· Be prepared to run sessions, communicating effectively between captains and members

· Recognising the strengths and weaknesses of the club and adjusting sessions accordingly

· Develop the club to be more competitive and win as many competitions as possible

· Be passionate about the sport and building an inclusive and fun environment for members

· Have an understanding of higher education sport

· Focus on improving members technique to prevent injury

· Work with the club committee to achieve the clubs aims and objectives for this year

· Display good coaching conduct in line with Queen Mary Student's Union Code of Conduct Please note, all QMSU Sport Coaches are required to hold a coaching certification relevant to their sport, as well as relevant first aid and public liability insurance documentation.
