Description
We are in search of a Head Coach who will lead the Blues Squad (competitive squad) of CUABC. The candidate will train approximately 30 fighters 3-4 sessions per week each term (8 weeks) lasting 1.5 hours each session. The required dates will be 8th October 2024 - 6th December 2024 and 21 January 2025 to 15 March 2025. Additional dates may be required but these can be agreed. The successful candidate will have experience of coaching both experienced and beginners, male and female athletes alike.
Candidates are expected to hold a formal coaching qualification and desirable criteria would include experience of coaching students, and knowledge of sports science.
The candidate should have an understanding of working with student athletes who are committed, but have to balance significant academic commitments.

Design and implement tailored training programmes that address the unique needs of CUABC.
Create a dynamic and supportive learning atmosphere where boxes can thrive and progress towards competitive success.
Align coaching practices with the highest standards of the sport, ensuring our boxers are equipped with scientifically informed knowledge in training and recovery.
Identify and nurture emerging talent, providing clear, constructive feedback and strategic guidance to maximise each boxer's potential.
