Description

The purpose of this role is to co-ordinate and deliver a successful programme of events across the BUCS sporting programme. Ensuring effective relationship management with volunteers, suppliers, national governing bodies (NGBs) of sport, and other key stakeholders to deliver high quality events to our member institutions and their students. We are looking to appoint two coordinators into the team.

About the Role

Event Coordinators at BUCS are responsible for the planning, delivery and review of a programme of individual sporting events, across multiple sports, throughout the season ensuring they align with the organisation’s core values of being inclusive, respectful, innovation, and dynamic.  

We are looking for someone with strong organisation skills, initiative, who is efficient, has good attention to detail and is able to work under pressure. The individual should be able to demonstrate good relationship management skills and be able to work both independently and as part of the wider event team.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about sports and event management in the higher education sector.
