Description
You will manage the Operational Duty Management Team and ensure our sports complex and wider sports facilities run effectively, efficiently and safely each day for all service users and customers. You will ensure that all areas of the sports centre operate to the highest standard and provide excellent customer service to enhance the student experience and experience we provide to all visitors, including our local community. Acting as department health and safety representative, you will also develop, monitor and enact facility inspections.

About You:
As Senior Duty Manager, you will:
Have a relevant first degree in sport/ leisure/ management discipline or an equivalent level leisure based qualification, or significant recent experience working in a leisure environment
Be knowledgeable on Health and Safety legislation appropriate to a Sports Centre Operation
Have excellent time management skills and the ability to plan and organise personal workloads and the workloads of others
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be a positive professional with the ability to resolve unexpected and wide-ranging enquiries.
