Bournemouth University is looking for an experienced grounds person to join the team at the 65 acre Chapel Gate, which is in an exciting development phase, delivering both grass and synthetic based sports surfaces for our students and the wider community.

Bournemouth University will encourage further training and development opportunities for the right candidate as well as encouragement to attend trade shows and GMA seminars.

We are looking a passionate and enthusiastic grounds person, who shares a love for all sports.

Tasks will vary from day to day, but will always be focussed on the maintenance of sports pitches, sport equipment and the essential machinery required for the role.

We are looking for someone that is hardworking, and keen to excel in both a team environment and when working by yourself.

This position does not meet the eligibility requirements for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Route within the UK Visa and Immigration service’s Points Based System. Therefore, BU will not be able to sponsor individuals who require permission to work to carry out this position.

This position is available part-time for 29 hours per week.
