Summary Of Duties And Responsibilities:
- To coach UoG 1st Team Men’s Football in conjunction with UoGSU.
- To assist with the planning, preparation, and delivery of the UoGSU 1st Team Men’s Football team, (including a complete training and games programme).
- To coach UoG Men’s Football Team for all match days.
MAIN DUTIES:
The post-holder will be expected to:
- Coach/Manage the UoGSU 1st Team Men’s Football squad and accompany them to their matches under the direction of and reporting to the UoGSU Activities team.
- Develop and progress UoGSU Men’s Football club and create a UoG Playing Philosophy.
- Supervise all players and any voluntary coaches during training sessions & games.
- Assist with recruitment of new players on an annual basis.
- Prepare equipment for all sessions and matches.
- Maintain training and match records that include registers and session plans.
- To work with current partners for the development of the football programme at UoG.
- Assist with planning and carrying out pre-season and post season activities.
- Attend relevant team and Activities Team meetings
