Within the report, the research team have set out several recommendations for the sector and to drive these forwards, we have established an Implementation Group. The Race & Equality Implementation Group will review the recommendations within the Race & Equality Research Report and establish action that can be taken to implement change across the higher education sport and physical activity landscape.
The group is made up of 14 representatives, from both within the sector and external organisations, with a purpose to support discussions within their region or nation and be central to piloting initiatives within their institution. The vision of the group is to ensure the recommendations within the Race & Equality Research Report are implemented and that positive change occurs across all programmes.
