Team Entry Deadline (For Administrators to Enter a Team on BUCS Play):

Thursday 10 November 2022 at 11:59pm

Team Join Deadline:

22 November at 11:59pm
(All Students/Competitors must have joined their team on BUCS play by this deadline)

Team Captains will be required to ensure that their team sheet is completed on BUCS play by this deadline.

It is recommended that all students that could possibly make up the squad on the day join the team on BUCS Play. If a player is not listed on the team on BUCS Play before this deadline, they shall not be permitted to be part of the match day squad.

Staged Entry

Should the competition allow more entries, a stage two entry window will open. Priority will be given to the entries received before the stage one entry closing date. Entries received in the stage two window and accepted into the competition, will be charged an additional 20% fee.

To apply for this competition:

Institution Administrators must submit a team entry on BUCS play. Instructions on how to do this can be found here

Competitors will then need to apply to join their respective team on BUCS Play. Instructions for this can be found here

Entry Allowance

There will be 16 team spaces available for this event.

Only teams representing institutions who reside in the Southern region, as defined in the Sport Specific regulations, will be eligible to attend.

In the case that more teams have requested entry than there are spaces for Round 2, preference will be given to teams who entered Round 1. If there are still too many entries for spaces, preference will be given to teams who finished higher in the Round 1. In the case that there are more teams wishing to enter, who did not enter Round 1, preference will be given to ‘First’ teams over ‘Second/Third’ teams.

Affiliations

All clubs and players are required to be affiliated to England Touch to participate in any BUCS University Touch event, for insurance and welfare purposes. For instructions on how to purchase membership please refer to the UTC Season Information Pack linked above.

In the case where clubs or players are experiencing issues in purchasing ETA membership, they should contact [email protected] for further support.

Withdrawals

Withdrawals must be made in writing through your institution administrator and emailed to the Event Lead, Chris Lamb

Withdrawals made prior to the Team Entry Deadline (10 November 2022) will not be charged.

Withdrawals made after the Team Entry Deadline (10 November 2022) will still be charged the entry fee.
