Registration and Timetable

REGISTRATION

All participants must attend accreditation before competing or otherwise participating in events. This includes all athletes, coaches, umpires, trainee umpires and support staff.

Athletes and coaches must accredit once at one of the following times:

  • 20:00 - 21:00 Friday 8th March for all participants (weigh-in only starts after set-up has progressed far enough, no arrivals after 21:00 may weigh-in)
  • 07:30 - 08:45 Saturday 9th March for Saturday’s competitors
  • 10:30 - 11:45 Saturday 9th March for Sunday’s competitors

Umpires and trainee umpire should attend accreditation on each morning they are participating.

Withdrawals

WITHDRAWALS

To withdraw from the event, please contact your Institution Administrator who should inform the event lead.

Venue information

PARKING

The venue has requested that event participants not park in front of the sports centre due to space limitations, but there is ample parking available on campus just a minute or two away.

There are no parking charges over the weekend but please do park in appropriately marked bays only and adhere to any guidance displayed. No parking is permitted on grassed areas.

CHANGING FACILITIES / DISABILITY ACCESS

Changing facilities available on site.

Venue disability access: accessible parking bays, automatic doors, lifts, accessible toilets and changing, accessible lockers, Changing Places room.

FOOD DRINK

Food and drink is available at the venue.

Presentations

PRESENTATIONS

Medals for individual divisions will be distributed on court immediately on conclusion of the division.

Series team trophies will be distributed on conclusion of the Sunday sparring competition.

Photography and Videography

PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY

Anyone wishing to take photos or video at this event must complete the BUCS Media Accreditation Form prior to the event.

BUCS reserves the right to prohibit photography equipment being used at a BUCS event. BUCS reserves the right to request that the individual ceases to take photographs, deletes any images and, if considered necessary, leaves the venue.
