For this reason, it is highly recommended that you submit a maximum number of swimmers, including reserves, to allow for injuries etc.

Teams will declare which members of their team are competing in each event via Microsoft Forms, which must be submitted before the closing of registration in each session.

You can access a team sheet for the qualifiers here.

You can access a team sheet for the finals here.

QR Codes will be provided at the BUCS Registration Desk and around the venue to help access the online Team Sheets.

Timekeepers and Officials

All participating teams MUST provide a timekeeper equipped with a stopwatch for BOTH their Qualifying Round and Finals (if they have qualified). Points may be deducted from any teams failing to comply.

Timekeepers should then be declared on the team sheet at the event and must attend the timekeepers briefing. Timekeepers cannot be competing as part of the team.

If any clubs have Aquatics GB J1 level officials that are not competing or timekeeping, please can you bring them with you to help support the event.

Sustainability

The sustainability of our event matters to us and these are the positive steps we are taking to manage our environmental impact:

  • All staff and volunteers are encouraged to travel to the event via public transport
  • We have used local suppliers where possible
  • Event programmes are all online, minimising paper use
  • We are beginning to track our carbon footprint across BUCS events to identify areas of improvement.

How can you help at this event? Here’s some ideas:

  • Be self-sufficient by bringing your own refillable bottles and coffee cups to reduce waste
  • Ensure you are disposing of waste correctly – Check around the venue for specific recycling and food waste bins
  • Travel smarter – as a team on a minibus, cycle or use public transport
  • Go paperless - use your phone for all event information
