Milk Every Moment

BUCS are proud to be supporting the Milk Every Moment campaign, highlighting the nutritional value of milk and how it can support students in their sporting performance.

Milk is an affordable source of high-quality protein, which contributes to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass. So why not make one of our milk-based recipes to enjoy before or after your upcoming event.

Share your milk drinks or meals on Instagram by tagging @BUCSSport.

Throughout the BUCS season we'll be sharing some of your best moments on our Instagram channel! Share using #MilkEveryMoment to be a part of it.

Sustainability

The sustainability of our event matters to us and these are the positive steps we are taking to manage our environmental impact:

  • All staff and volunteers are encouraged to travel to the event via public transport
  • We have used local suppliers where possible
  • Event programmes are all online, minimising paper use

How can you help at this event? Here’s some ideas:

  • Be self-sufficient by using refillable bottles and coffee cups to reduce waste. There are water refill stations at both venues and you will receive 20p off your coffee at David Ross Sports Village if bringing your own re-usable coffee cup.
  • Travel smarter – as a team on a minibus, cycle or use public transport
  • Go paperless - use your phone for all event information
  • Check out the Active Travel link on Nottingham council website here
