SINGLE ENTRY

This competition will NOT operate a staged entry process. As such, please ensure all entries are submitted through BUCS Play prior to the closing date listed above.

To apply for this competition and make a valid initial entry each team must:

1. At 1200 on 16th December 2022 a Google Docs online form was opened and will decide the entries into the Championship on a first come first serve basis.
2. By Monday 18th December, or within 72 hours of your entry, you will receive an email confirming your place in the Championship with the Fairview Sailing booking form attached.
3. By no later than 28th February 2023, submit a completed booking form to Fairview Sailing. The form is located on the BUSA Yachting Championships web page.
4. Receive a confirmation from Fairview that they can charter a Fairview Oceanis 37.
5. After receiving Fairview approval, from 21 February 2023 and by the initial entry deadline of 23:59 on 10 March 2023, complete the BUCS Play Stage 1 online entry process.
6. Entry Fees will be charged post-event by BUCS.
7. After the initial entry deadline, Stage 1 places will be allocated by BUSA, based on:
   1. One place per university, on a first come, first served basis in the order that completed Google Docs online booking forms are received by Fairview Sailing.

NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED ON THE DAY & NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

This event is limited to a maxmimum of 15 boats. The institutions that have completed the necessary forms prior to BUCS Play opening and therefore are currently able to attend pending BUCS registration are as follows:

For all sailing events, ALL competitors must be on the competitors and reserves list as well as in their respective teams. If this is not the case, your entry will be voided and you will not be able to compete.

For the team sailing events, competitors must have joined both their team (for example, BUCS Blue) and the competitors and reserve list (BUCS competitors and reserves list). The competitors and reserves list can be found on the events tab of the sailing 22-23 community on BUCS play, along with the team racing qualifiers event.

Please ensure you join the competitors and reserves list and ensure a captain/administrator approves you prior to Thursday 2 February at 23:59pm.
