£100.00 per competitor

SINGLE ENTRY

This competition will NOT operate a staged entry process. As such, please ensure all entries are submitted through BUCS Play prior to the closing date listed above.

Events & BUCS Points Available

BUCS Points are not directly available at this singular event. This event is a qualifying event for the National Finals. BUCS Points will be awarded after the National Finals event has taken place.

Please be aware that this event is ran as a mixed event, but as per the Rounders England 2023-25 rulebook, a minimum number of males is not required. Therefore, whilst it is a mixed event, a team is permitted to be all-female. A team cannot be all-male, as per the Rounders rules and regulations. 

Progression to Finals

There will be a nine team finals event, qualifying from the three regional rounds. The top three teams from each regional event will qualify to the finals. Further information on progression is TBC.

Entry Allowance

A maximum of 10 Teams can take part in this regional event. If there should be more teams entering the event than the maximum number of spaces, entries will be allocated evenly, e.g. all institutions 1st teams are allocated a space, followed by 2nd teams, then 3rd teams etc. Should there be more 1st teams than spaces available, this will be allocated using a random draw.

Teams are permitted to enter more than one regional should they wish to, however if the event is oversubscribed then priority would be given to those teams who had not previously entered a regional event.

Entry Process

To apply for this competition:

  1. Entries will need to be submitted via the team entries section of our online entry system, BUCS Play (Instructions on how to do this can be found here)
  2. Please speak to your Institution Administrator as they will need to submit your entry.
  3. Competitors then need to apply for their respective team. (Instructions on how to do this can be found here)
  4. Institution Administrators must approve a competitor’s application before their entry is confirmed. Institution Administrators are able to give team captains approval access to help with this process (Instructions on how to do this can be found here)

Para Sport

The event has no specific para categories.  Disabled participants may be able to compete in this event.  Please contact Rounders England for further information.

Withdrawals

If teams withdraw before the team entry deadline of Thursday 6 March at 23:59pm, they will not be charged the entry fee.

If a team chooses to withdraw after the team entry deadline of Thursday 6 March at 23:59pm, they will still be charged the entry fee.
