Match Schedule and Format

Match Schedule/Format: 

  • BUCS National Championship is a 16-team tournament, with four-groups, and each group comprising four teams.

  • For the initial stage of the competition, a round robin format will be played within each group.  The results of this will determine who teams play in the qualifying rounds. 

  • The results of the qualifying round will determine fixtures for the semi finals, which will determine fixtures for placing.  

  • Games are 40 minutes long, with 10 minutes between each match on the saturday, and 15 minutes on the sunday  

  • All games will have a two minute half time. 

  • Each team will have 1 timeout per game

  • All games will be played using a shotclock. 

  • Please leave the court immediately after your match so the next teams can set up and the day can remain on schedule. 

  • You must attend all shotclock allocations

Withdrawals

WITHDRAWALS

Any withdrawals will amount to £300 before this National round.

Venue Information

PARKING

There are multiple car parks at UEA within a 10 minute walking radius. Each with a flat fee of £1 for each day.

CHANGING FACILITIES / DISABILITY ACCESS

Changing facilities are located within the Sports Park’s main building.

FOOD DRINK
