Event Guide
Timetable
- Monday 22 April - Round 1 - Starting at 08:45 - 9 minute intervals - Random Order. Men will tee off first. Women will tee off from 11:06.
- Tuesday 23 April - Round 2 - Starting at 08:00 - 9 minute intervals - Reverse Score Order
- Tuesday 23 April - Round 3 - Starting 13:00 - 9 minute intervals - Same Order as Round 2
- There will be a cut in the men's competition after 3 round to top 24 - including ties
- Wednesday 24 April - Round 4 - Starting 08:00 - 9 minute intervals - Reverse Score Order
Men will be off the white tees and women will be off the red tees.
All rounds will be played in groups of 3.
Tee times will be emailed out through Golfbox closer to the event and will be available on the 'Tee times/results' tab.
There will be no cut for female competition.
Registration
Competitors must register at least 30 minutes before starting Round 1. Competitors are encouraged to register as soon as they arrive at the venue. Registration will be located in the clubhouse.
Competitors must show their student ID on arrival. Competitors who do not register may have their tee time withdrawn. Players need to come to registration area each day to collect their scorecard.
Competitors are encouraged to use and update golfbox for their scoring so the tournament can provide up to date live scoring.
As per the rules of golf, competitors who do not show for their tee time will be disqualified.
Practice Rounds
Practice rounds are available between 14:00 - 16:00 on Sunday 21 April.
These are bookable directly through the pro shop at a cost of £30 per round per player.
Range Tokens & Course Guides
Course guides will be provided to each competitor free of charge.
Competitors will be given 1 range token prior to each round free of charge.
Please note: The driving range next to the 18th Hole on Rosemount is Irons only. The range a short drive away in Carsie is full length.
Food
Food will be available at the bar from 7:15am on each day of the competition. Lunch will be available to purchase at the bar on each day of the competition.
Order of Merit
This event forms part of the BUCS Golf Tour and Macpherson Order of Merit.
The Winner of the season long Order of Merit will also be announced at the conclusion of this event.
Points for the OOM will be awarded to the top 20 men and top 15 women as detailed in the BUCS Golf Rules and Regulations.
Caddies
The use of caddies is permitted. Competitors must inform a BUCS member of staff prior to the round that they'll be using a caddie.
Dress Code
Competitors are expected to dress appropriately when in the clubhouse; trainers, sandals, jeans and sportswear are not permitted indoors. Competitors must therefore bring a change of clothes and footwear for use in the clubhouse. No hard spiked golf shoes or hats are permitted in the clubhouse.
Changing Facilities
There are changing facilities and showers located within the clubhouse. A limited number of lockers are available. BUCS cannot be held responsible for any loss of valuables or equipment during the event.

Pin Sheets for each day can be found on the 'Pin Sheets' tab.
Withdrawals
Competitors withdrawing during the competition must inform email Luke Gallen, stating their reason for withdrawal. Any withdrawals after Thursday 11 April will still be charged the entry fee.
Competitors must also inform their institution they have withdrawn from the competition. Any competitor who does not show up to register for their opening round will be considered a no show and their institution will be fined £50 in addition to the entry fee for the event.
