EVENT GUIDE

Please note

BUCS have secured West Lancashire Golf Club as the venue for this season's Northern Trophy event, working with them, England Golf and Lancashire County Union, to adapt course yardages and obtain a temporary course rating, in order for the course to be handicap qualifying due to winter conditions and impact on the course.

This has had the effect of making the Women's yardage outside the 10-15% of the Men's yardage, at 15.6%, as stated in the BUCS Golf Rules and Regulations. The BUCS Executive has deemed that in this extraordinary circumstance, and in order for the event to happen, the yardages will be used as given in the temporary course rating. The playing field is level within each separate category, Men's and Women's at the event.
