Thursday 17th May 2025 at 23:59 – Institution Administrator Deadline
(Institutional Administrators are given 48 hours after the student / competitor deadline to approve entries)
Entry Costs:
£100 per entry (rider)
Staged Entry
Should the competition allow more entries a Stage 2 Entry window will open. Priority will remain with the entries received before the Stage 1 entry closing date. Entries received in the Stage 2 window and accepted into the competition, will be charged an additional 20% fee.
Entry Allowance
The maximum number of riders would be 350 it would be unlikely to exceed this number, but we can adjust the start and finish times to allow for extra riders
Entry Process
To apply for the competition all eligible competitors must follow these steps:
- Competitor to apply to the event on BUCS Play (Instructions on how to do this can be found here)
- Institution administrator approves entry (Instructions on how to do this can be found here)
- BUCS approves/denies entry into competition and publishes confirmed entry list

INFORMATION UPDATE 28/05/24 - CHAMPIONSHIP RUN CUT NUMBERS CHANGE
Please note that all riders will get 1 qualifying run, with the top 101 Open and top 15 Female riders qualifying for the Championship run. The fastest time from the Championship run will determine finishing places. The change to numbers of riders qualifying for a Championship run has been made based on field size of entries to the Open and Female categories.
Championship medals are awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd quickest finishers from the Championship run.
Open team medals are awarded for the 3 fastest Championship run times per Institution, and Female Team medals are awarded for the 2 fastest Championship run times per Institution.

Withdrawals
Photography & Videography
Anyone wishing to take photos or video at this event must complete the BUCS Media Accreditation Form prior to the event.
BUCS reserves the right to prohibit photography equipment being used at a BUCS event. BUCS reserves the right to request that the individual ceases to take photographs, deletes any images and, if considered necessary, leaves the venue.
