INFORMATION UPDATE 28/05/24 - CHAMPIONSHIP RUN CUT NUMBERS CHANGE
Please note that all riders will get 1 qualifying run, with the top 101 Open and top 13 Female riders qualifying for the Championship run. The fastest time from the Championship run will determine finishing places. The change to numbers of riders qualifying for a Championship run has been made based on field size of entries to the Open and Female categories.
Championship medals are awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd quickest finishers from the Championship run.
Open team medals are awarded for the 3 fastest Championship run times per Institution, and Female Team medals are awarded for the 2 fastest Championship run times per Institution.

The closest shops are in the nearest town Llangollen with a good selection of supermarkets and petrol stations.
Photography and Videography
Anyone wishing to take photos or video at this event must complete the BUCS Media Accreditation Form prior to the event.
BUCS reserves the right to prohibit photography equipment being used at a BUCS event. BUCS reserves the right to request that the individual ceases to take photographs, deletes any images and, if considered necessary, leaves the venue.

Sustainability
The sustainability of our event matters to us and these are the positive steps we are taking to manage our environmental impact:
- All staff and volunteers are encouraged to travel to the event via public transport
- We have used local suppliers where possible
- Event programmes are all online, minimising paper use
- We will print on demand merchandise (if applicable)
How can you help at this event? Here’s some ideas:
- Be self-sufficient by using refillable bottles and coffee cups to reduce waste
- Travel smarter – as a team on a minibus, cycle or use public transport
- Go paperless - use your phone for all event information
Camping
The camping area can be found at the venue, and there are portaloos and catering onsite for your comfort. This is a private field, as such we ask all competitors to respect the land owners and neighbours by adhering to a few site rules:
- No fires whatsoever are permitted onsite.
- No loud music to be played – please respect other riders and neighbours.
- Riders should respect that land owners and under no circumstances approach private houses on-site.
- There will be portaloos on-site for rider’s convenience. Please respect these and leave them in the state that you found them in.
- All riders must ensure than any rubbish they bring with must taken back with them and recycled where possible, no rubbish should be left at the site.
Please note any disruptive behaviour will result in ejection from the campsite and the competition, and could result in disqualification for the entire team and further disciplinary action.
