Registration
Each team’s captain must register the team on arrival to BUCS staff in the main pavilion.
All players are required to provide valid student identification at registration (i.e. student card). Anyone without the relevant identification may not be permitted to compete.
Schedule
Competition information
The match shall consist of one innings of 50 overs per side.
Match ball Grade A standard and English manufactured pink balls will be provided by BUCS for the match. Teams are responsible for their own warm-up and training balls.
Team sheet
You are required to complete the team sheet on BUCS Play and send a copy to Jude Pickett detailing names of players and support staff. Deadline: 17:00 on 20th June 2022.
Scorer
Each team must supply a scorer for their match with the means to calculate the Duckworth Lewis Stern method if needed (ideally software installed on a laptop). BUCS will copy scorecards on completion.
Kit
CRI 6.4 Women's North/South league and Championship knockout competition matches All teams are strongly encouraged to play in coloured clothing although this is not mandatory, but all players within the team must be in the same kit. Coloured tops and white trousers, white tops and coloured trousers, or traditional whites are acceptable.
Team photos
Team photographs will take place outside the main pavilion at 11:20 (before the 1st innings start) for both finalists. Your team are asked to be ready for this time and dressed in their playing kit. Any changes on the day will be communicated to your coach and or captain.
Catering
Lunch will be provided for 16 members of each team. Please let Jude Pickett know of any dietary requirements.
Parking
Free parking is available at the venue.
Spectators
Spectators will be permitted at this event. Bringing alcohol to this event is not permitted.
If you are planning on bringing lots of spectators, please can you talk with Jude Pickett to arrnage accordingly.
Presentations
Rules and Regulations
The tournament will be played under BUCS General Regulations, BUCS Cricket Regulations and and the MCC Laws of Cricket (2017 Code, 2nd Edition – 2019) together with any permanent or experimental conditions approved by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) for the recreational game.
