We will be running the Championships over 2 days.  Each start time will have a different registration time, but please arrive 40 mins before your shooting time. Registration will be in the Club House at Orston Shooting Ground. Failure to register and start by the stated times will result in disqualification from the competition. No new entries or substitutions will be accepted on the day of competition. Scores must be agreed at each stand with the end scorecard submitted on the final stand.

Each competitor will shoot 100 birds over 13 stands in squads of 6. Please refer to the squadding lists for your start time.

Once your squad has started the competition, please ensure that you complete the course before returning to the club house. A period of 2 hours has been allocated to the morning and afternoon sessions. 

The medal presentation will take place after the last session has finished and the scoring has been finalised on Sunday 5 December 2021.

Each squad will be issued with a score card on stand 1.  Please make sure that you complete the cards in full and add each competitor’s final score up before submitting to the final stand. To prevent delaying the presentations competitors are required to submit their cards immediately after finishing and hand in on the last stand.

Competitors must supply their own cartridges. There will be some available for sale at the Orston Shooting Ground on the day. 

All competitors are responsible for providing their own food and drink throughout the competition when out on the grounds shooting. There will be catering in the club house available from 8am-2:30pm, where you can purchase hot and cold food and drinks 

Any alcohol consumption on site during the competition is strictly prohibited.  Any competitor failing to adhere to this regulation will be automatically disqualified from the competition and asked to leave the venue.

The safety of students, volunteers and staff remains paramount as we move into the 2021-22 season, therefore for the time being we will still be implementing a series of Covid-19 Measures at our events. Although certain safety measures surrounding Covid-19 will be dictated by a venue or specific sport requirements we will be continuing to implement the following general measures across all of our events:

1. Event Disclaimer includes specifics around Covid-19
2. Whilst inside staff members and volunteers interacting with competitors will be wearing appropriate face coverings
3. Covid-19 questionnaire completed prior to arrival at the event by all competitors, officials, volunteers and support staff.
4. Access to hand-washing facilities, or hand sanitiser

What’s expected of competitors:

1. Event competitors should stay home if they have any Covid-19 symptoms, live in the same household with someone with Covid-19 symptoms or have been diagnosed with, or suspected to have, Covid-19 in the past 10 days
2. Competitors should stay home if they have been instructed to quarantine due to international travel restrictions or by NHS Test and Trace
3. Competitors must follow direction from event staff, venue staff and volunteers.
4. Competitors must complete Covid-19 questionnaire prior to arrival at the event  
5. Competitors should ensure they are following hand hygiene practices at all times
6. Competitors are encouraged to wear a face covering when indoors registering and moving about the building
7. Competitors should follow the guidance and safety procedures outlined for the event you are attending. These can be found in the Event Guide once released.
8. Competitors unable to attend event due to Covid-19 must contact the event lead

Lateral Flow Tests and Vaccine Status
