Institutions must ensure that teams and a team captain are entered and assigned on BUCS Play by this date.
Entry Costs:
£255 per team
Staged Entry
Should the competition allow more entries, a Stage 2 Entry window will open. Priority will remain with the entries received before the Stage 1 entry closing date. Entries received in the Stage 2 window and accepted into the competition, will be charged an additional 20% fee.
Events & BUCS Points Available
BUCS Points are not directly available at this singular event. Please see the UTC Season Information Pack for further information.
This events results will form part of the overall BUCS points ranking for 2024/25, where the results from this round will be combined with the result from the other 2 national rounds to award BUCS points
This competition is also an opportunity for new and developing teams to take part UTC.

Entry Process
To apply for this competition:
- Entries will need to be submitted via the team entries section of our online entry system, BUCS Play (Instructions on how to do this can be found here)
- Please speak to your Institution Administrator as they will need to submit your entry.
- Competitors then need to apply for their respective team. (Instructions on how to do this can be found here)
- Institution Administrators must approve a competitor’s application before their entry is confirmed. Institution Administrators are able to give team captains approval access to help with this process (Instructions on how to do this can be found here)
