Parking
The postcode above is a blanket postcode so we recommend using ‘Leighfield Road’ for any Sat Navs.
We recommend parking at Cryfield Village Car Park across the road from the Sports and Wellness Hub as this is cheaper to park in than the Sports and Wellness hub car park at £2 a day.

Withdrawals
If an individual who has qualified for the National Finals withdraws before 5pm on Thursday 7 March 2024, the next best scorer from the Regional Qualifiers from their category will be allocated their space where possible and the individual who withdrew will be fined £5.
When withdrawals are received before 5pm Thursday 7 March 2024, BUCS will contact the Institution Administrator of the individual that has been allocated that space as well as updating the qualification list online. Any individuals who have not initially qualified are therefore encouraged to check the qualification list themselves to see if they have been allocated a space as the result of any withdrawals.
The final target list will be published by Wednesday 13 March 2024 after any withdrawals have been processed and these places re-allocated where possible. Only those persons listed on the final target list can participate.
If an individual who has qualified for the National Finals withdraws after 5pm on Thursday 7 March 2024, their place will not be re-allocated and the individual who withdrew will be fined £20.
If an individual who has qualified for the National Finals fails to show at the event, having not withdrawn, their place will not be re-allocated and the individual will be fined £25.
Where a player develops a new injury/medical condition between the Regional Qualifiers and the National Finals requiring them to withdraw, a medical note can be submitted to avoid incurring a fine.
Notification of a withdrawal should be sent via e-mail by the individual’s Institution Administrator to the Event Lead.
Team
Individuals who qualified for the National Finals have automatically been entered into the BUCS Championship team competitions as well, provided there are enough eligible individuals from that institution to comprise a team at the National Finals. Team awards will be awarded on the scores from the WA18m round.
Team make up, and awards can be found in BUCS Regulation ARC 2.1.3.2.
A breakdown of BUCS Points can be found in Appendix 1 BUCS Competition Offer and Associated BUCS Points.
Registration
Registration and Equipment inspection will be completed approximately 15-30 minutes prior to the scheduled session start time. When equipment inspection is declared open, archers will be expected to approach a judge for their equipment to be inspected. Once this has been completed archers should then proceed to a member of the field party to be registered.
All competitors MUST present a photographic student ID card and current Archery GB membership card or an official Archery GB Subscription Fee Receipt as proof of membership at registration. Anyone without the relevant identification may not be permitted to compete.
Rounds
The event will be shot to World Archery/ArcheryGB rules and in line with BUCS Regulation ARC 2.1.3.
The event will consist of a WA18m round for seeding and the team competition scores followed by head-to-head rounds to award the individual champions. The head-to-head rounds will be for Recurve, Longbow and Barebow best of 5 sets; for Compound it will be the highest score from 15 arrows.
