FISU Forum 2012

FISU Forum

The FISU Forum is a biennial gathering of students and staff/senior figures involved in university sport from around the world. Great Britain has been represented at each of the previous nine forums.

The Forum offers delegates from all nations the opportunity to compare the university sport programmes and provision within different countries, as well as to discuss the role of FISU and its sporting programme. Each day contains conference-style discussions, workshops and presentations, as well as cultural excursion.

The last FISU Forum was held in Montpellier, France from the 4-9 July 2016. The main theme being University and Sport: from the origins towards the future of university sport.

BUCS sent a delegation of 4 persons to represent Great Britain at the 13th FISU Forum.

The 2018 FISU Forum will be held in Krasnoyarsk, Russian Federation from 6 - 11 August.
